Cycles

This time of year, I love seeing graduation posts on social media from friends and family near and far. These celebrations are a seasonal reminder of the cyclical nature of growing up. For a moment, those smiling faces pause to mark a milestone - and then full of potential, they start a new chapter the next day.

I feel that same pattern of cyclical growth here at the Library Foundation. As we close our seventh fiscal year, some things are predictable - we plan fall events, communicate with our donor community, identify opportunities for programs and relationships, assess the year behind us and set goals for the year ahead. But each year, your Library and Foundation are different, better and stronger because of what we've done and learned so far, and because of your support. For example, this year's Community Read and National Poetry Month events were exponentially greater than ever before because they were developed, delivered and shared broadly with our whole community. Summer Break, the Library's summer learning program now underway, is building on last year's success with expanded partnerships.

We are better with you, thankful for you, and proud to keep growing together.

Warmly,
