Hello ,
As we enter the eighth week of this “new normal,” we’re beginning a season typically marked by graduations, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. Since we can’t gather in person to celebrate the accomplishments of the grads or the everyday heroism of parents – especially now! – we’d like to recognize them on our website and social media channels. We're also proud to share news of the renaming of the Beatties Ford Road Regional Library in honor of Allegra Westbrooks, our Library's first African American librarian, and we look forward to celebrating together.
I continue to be inspired by all the ways your Library continues to improve lives and build a stronger community during this time, through virtual programs for all ages, expanded WiFi access, and resources for education, business and social services. We hope you’ll consider a gift to the Library in honor of the moms, dads and grads in your life. And when you do, please submit a photo or a sentence or two about the honoree so we can spotlight them on our website and social media platforms.
Thank you for supporting your Library and each other, and for being part of our community of everyday heroes.
Stay well,
Jenni Gaisbauer, CFRE Executive Director
