Energy |
Hello ,
I hope your summer is off to a great start. Around here, there’s new energy in the air.
This week your Library began Phase 3 operations – an opportunity to welcome more customers inside branches and to the Robinson-Spangler Carolina Room. We also announced an important step toward greater equity. Beginning July 1, County Commissioners have approved the Library's elimination of overdue fines - restoring full access to Library services to more than 150,000 residents.
And you may have seen an announcement two weeks ago about the CommonSpark campaign. Honeywell made an investment of $1 million in a Data Visualization Lab at the new Main Library, propelling the comprehensive, $135 million campaign past the $100 million mark.
Momentum is building, and we couldn’t be more grateful and excited for the coming months.
Thank you, as always, for your support, and we look forward to seeing you at the Library!
Jenni Gaisbauer, CFRE Executive Director
