December E-Newsletter
As we close out the calendar year surrounded by "Best of..." lists and resolutions, I look back at 2018 with immense pride.
This has been the Foundation's busiest year to date, and we ended it with a wildly successful event presented in partnership with Park Road Books. As former President Bill Clinton and the world's best-selling author James Patterson spoke of Authenticity, Literacy and Community, I beamed with gratitude - for our Foundation team, our Library and most of all our ever-widening circle of Library supporters.
If you haven't yet made a 2018 gift to the Library Foundation, it isn't too late. Because of your support, your Library Foundation will kick off 2019 with tremendous momentum as we continue to build for the next generation. Several branch renovations are underway or upcoming, and plans for a new uptown facility are quickly taking shape. Stay tuned for more news this year about the Library as a public commons.
My "Best of" list is simple. It's all of you. Thank you for your support, your friendship, your confidence and your investment in our shared future.
I wish you a joyful and peaceful holiday season, and a very happy new year.
Warmly,
Jenni Gaisbauer, CFRE Executive Director
