Always Growing

"Whatever the cost of our libraries, the price is cheap compared to that of an ignorant nation.”

-Walter Cronkite

It’s been an exciting month at your Library and Library Foundation. The newly renovated North County Regional location opened to rave reviews and a fall festival. Construction continues on the larger Scaleybark location, and renovations begin next week at South County Regional. With the support of Mecklenburg County, a new mobile library will be hitting the streets this spring.

This e-newsletter is coming to you a bit later than usual, because we have another new location to announce – our website! Many of the links in this email will bring you to the Library Foundation’s brand new website, completely redesigned and launched today. We hope you find it informative, easy to navigate, and reflective of your dynamic, growing, people-centric Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. Please let us know what you think.

And of course, Verse & Vino is only a few days away. We hope to see you there - and if you’re not in the room stay tuned for some exciting news in the days to follow.

Thank you, as always, for your friendship and generous support of your Library’s mission to improve lives and build a stronger community.

Warmly,
