Three Things

Hello ,

They say good things come in threes, and today marks the start of three very good things with a common thread: they all build community.

We’re launching a new initiative today – Bookmark the Town. This campaign, which began as an idea from a Library supporter, will blanket the County with thousands of yard signs that start conversations, support and celebrate your Library – and generate a recommended book list that will keep us all reading for years!

Community Read begins today, bringing readers of all ages together to discuss themes of social justice. Joan Higgenbotham, a retired NASA astronaut, gets us started with her read-aloud of You Matter, the Community Read children’s title.

And of course, today is the first day of a return to in-person Library services. We can’t wait to see you again.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
