New Beginnings

Hello ,

This month began a new fiscal year for your Library Foundation, and it feels like a fresh start with endless possibilities ahead.

With generous support from Mecklenburg County, we started the year with a new Fine Free policy, eliminating a barrier to access for more than 150,000 Library cardholders. A Mobile Library will hit the road this fall, and along with Verse & Vino we’re planning "One for the Books," a community-wide celebration to say goodbye to the current Main Library. Stay tuned for a lot more information later this summer.

One thing that won’t change this year is our commitment to partnership - with the County, organizations throughout the community, and the thousands of corporations, foundations and individuals who support Charlotte Mecklenburg Library’s mission to improve lives and build a stronger community. Your Library's impact is possible because of you, and we're looking forward to a great year together.

Thank you for your continued partnership,
